These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ACME Dance Academy website located at this domain (the "Site") and the services offered by ACME Dance Academy ("Studio," "we," "our," or "us"), a dance studio located at 67 Main St, Severna Park, MD 21146. By accessing or using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use this Site.

1. Use of This Website

This Site is provided for informational purposes and to allow prospective and current students to learn about our programs and claim introductory offers. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the Site.

You must not use this Site to transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.

2. Trial Classes and Enrollment

Information on this Site regarding free trial offers, programs, and schedules is provided for general guidance and is subject to change without notice. The free trial offer (currently one free trial class plus a waived registration fee) is available to new students only, one per family, and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

A binding enrollment agreement is formed only when both parties have signed the Studio's enrollment forms, including any applicable membership agreement and required waivers. Submitting a trial request via this Site or by phone does not create a contractual obligation on the part of either party.

3. Assumption of Risk, Liability Waiver, and Safety

Dance instruction is a physical activity that involves inherent risks, including the risk of physical injury. By enrolling in classes at ACME Dance Academy, students (and the parents or guardians of minor students) acknowledge that they are aware of and voluntarily assume these inherent risks.

Students and their parents or guardians will be required to review and sign the Studio's liability waiver and assumption of risk agreement prior to participating in any class. The terms of those documents, as provided at enrollment, govern the parties' rights and obligations with respect to injury, liability, and related matters.

4. Photo & Video Policy

By attending classes at ACME Dance Academy, students and their parents or guardians consent to photographs and videos taken during class activities, recitals, rehearsals, and other Studio events being used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to the Studio's website and social media channels.

If you prefer to opt out of photo and video use, please contact us at info@dancestudio.demo or speak with the front desk. We will make reasonable efforts to honor opt-out requests.

5. Costumes and Recital Participation

Participation in the annual spring recital is optional but strongly encouraged. Costume requirements, fees, and rehearsal schedules are communicated to enrolled families each session. Specific costume and recital terms are provided separately and are not governed by these Terms.

6. Membership and Cancellation

Specific membership terms, tuition rates, billing cycles, and cancellation procedures are provided in the enrollment agreement given to students at the time of enrollment. This Site does not publish binding membership terms, as these may vary by program and are subject to change. Please contact us for current enrollment information.

7. Minors

All students under the age of 18 must have a parent or guardian sign all required enrollment forms, waivers, and agreements before participating in any class. Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child's participation is appropriate given the child's physical condition and any medical considerations.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All registration and communication for minor students is conducted with parents or guardians.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of ACME Dance Academy or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content on this Site without prior written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

This Site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. ACME Dance Academy does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ACME Dance Academy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on any information provided here, even if ACME Dance Academy has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Liability related to participation in classes or physical activity is governed by the enrollment agreement and waiver signed at the time of enrollment.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.
